Finalistas en el premio EQUALS in Tech 2021
Estamos muy orgullosas de compartir esta nominación como finalista para los premios Equals in Tech 2021 en la categoría de investigación. Junto a muchas propuestas de compañeras de todo el mundo compartimos nuestros trabajos que buscan una Internet feminista y más igualitaria. Nuestra investigación sobre Difusión de Imagen íntima no consentida en el sistema judicial de Paraguay fue una de las seleccionadas. Esta investigación recoge y analiza cómo las mujeres acceden a la justicia y cuales son las estrategias legales, políticas y sociales que se deben tener en cuenta para prevenir la violencia digital de género en especial en casos legales de difusión de imagen íntima no consentida. Esta investigación fue realizada por Maricarmen Sequera con el apoyo de Cyrilla Fund. Y se ha publicado en español e inglés.
Los premios EQUALS in Tech son el evento insignia anual de EQUALS Global Partnership, una iniciativa de múltiples partes interesadas cofundada por: UIT, ONU Mujeres, Universidad de las Naciones Unidas, GSMA e ITC.

We are very proud to share this nomination as a finalist for 2021 the Equals in Tech awards in the research category. Along with many proposals from colleagues around the world, we share our work that seeks a feminist and more egalitarian Internet. Our research on Dissemination of non-consensual intimate image in the judicial system of Paraguay was one of the selected ones. This research collects and analyzes how women access to justice and what are the legal, political and social strategies that should be taken into account to prevent gender-based digital violence, especially for legal cases of non-consensual intimate image dissemination. This research was conducted by Maricarmen Sequera with the support of the Cyrilla Fund and has been published in English and Spanish.
The EQUALS in Tech Awards is the annual flagship event of the EQUALS Global Partnership, a multistakeholder initiative co-founded by: ITU, UN Women, UN University, GSMA and ITC.
